The most convenient and fastest way to reach your beach volleyball holiday in Albania is via Tirana Airport (TIA) – officially Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. This modern airport is located just about 30 minutes from our Beach Camp in Durrës.
Many European airlines fly to Tirana daily, often with multiple connections per day. This way you’ll find plenty of direct flights, most of them taking less than two hours.

Rental Car from the Airport to the Camp
If you want maximum flexibility, renting a car is the most convenient option. At Tirana Airport, you’ll find all major international rental companies as well as reliable local providers. The process is straightforward, prices are pleasantly affordable compared to the rest of Europe, and you’ll reach our Beach Camp in Durrës in just 30–40 minutes.
The route is easy to drive, well signposted, and runs along modern roads – perfect for starting your beach volleyball holiday relaxed and stress-free. With your own car, you’re also flexible for small trips, dinners at the harbor, or a quick visit to Tirana.

Public Transport
From Tirana International Airport (TIA) and the surrounding Tirana area, you can take a bus to Durrës. A good place to check schedules is Gjirafa – Bus Tirana → Durrës – where you’ll find numerous daily connections from Tirana city. The journey takes around 40 minutes and costs approximately €3.
There are also bus and shuttle services directly from the airport to Durrës, with ticket prices starting at around €6.
For more comfort or if you’re travelling with heavy luggage, taking a taxi from the airport to the coast is a great option. Expect to pay between €25 and €30 for the trip from Tirana Airport to Durrës.
